Blacklight blue lamps (BLB) are lamps that emit ultraviolet light in the wavelength range of 315nm to 400nm (UV-A), which has strong photochemical and fluorescent effects. They use deep blue filter glass that absorbs visible light while allowing only ultraviolet light to pass through, along with phosphors that have a main peak in the emission spectrum around 360nm. These lamps are utilized as light sources for testing, inspection, identification, and investigation.
